Licensed A-Class & B-Class Fully Insured Code-Compliant Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan

What's covered

Elite holds both A-Class and B-Class asbestos removal licences, so our scope covers the full range of asbestos materials found in Brisbane buildings — bonded cement sheet through to friable lagging.

Bonded (non-friable) — B-Class scope

Friable — A-Class scope

Friable work runs under stricter controls than bonded — full enclosure where required, negative-pressure decontamination, air monitoring by an independent licensed assessor, clearance inspection before reoccupation. Same Elite contractor, different work scope.

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of asbestos do you remove? +
Both bonded (non-friable) and friable. Bonded cement sheet materials — roof sheeting, eaves, wall sheets, fences, vinyl tiles — are the most common job and covered under our B-Class licence. Friable asbestos (pipe lagging, weathered or damaged ACM, certain textured ceilings, insulation) requires an A-Class licence and a different work scope — we hold A-Class as well, so it stays one contractor, one set of paperwork.
How much does asbestos removal cost? +
Bonded removal is generally costed per square metre, with site access, height, and disposal volume all factored in. A small shed roof may run a few hundred dollars; a large house roof scales accordingly. We quote in writing once we've seen the site or photos.
How long does a typical job take? +
Most residential bonded removals are completed in one day. Larger commercial or roof jobs run 2–5 days. Demolition with asbestos content can run 1–2 weeks depending on scope.
What paperwork do I receive? +
A written quote and scope before work, a site-specific asbestos control plan, and after completion: a clearance certificate (where required) and waste disposal receipts from the licensed facility.
Do I need to leave the property during the work? +
For external removals (roofs, eaves, fences) you can usually remain on site outside the controlled work zone. For internal removals we typically recommend vacating the affected rooms for the duration of the work and decontamination.
